Has it really been 7 months?

I can't believe that my baby boy is 7 months old today. It doesn't seem like it has been that long since I held in my arms for the first time. He has gotten so big and learns new things everyday. 18lbs. 11oz 28in. He crawls everywhere now and nothing is safe. LOL
He found his reflection in the sliding door and has so much fun playing with himself.

And he pulls himself up and cruises (slowly) around. He has already stood all on his own several times and probably will be walking all on his own soon.
He is so handsome and is going to break alot of hearts in his future. I love him and he teaches me something new everyday.

Space Needle

We went to the Space Needle while my parents were here. My dad has been wanting to go since he came to Seattle for the World's Fair. We walked from the Pike Place Market. It was an enjoyable day. Marie-Eve had to push brother. She did such a good job especially since it was a bit of a hill that we were on.
This is a piece of art that was there around the needle and Marie-Eve thought it was awesome.
WOW! It is so tall.
Making a wish.
She wanted these glasses so bad.
Dancing her favorite thing to do.
Here is the band that she was dancing to.
Papa and Stephane
Gramme and Stephane
View from the top.
Marie-Eve at the top
He finally made it. :)
You can see the Mariner and Seahawk stadiums.

Look how little that sailboat looked from way up there.
Trying to look through the telescope.

Marie-Eve thought that it was an M for Marie-Eve.

Being silly.

Standing on one of the many base pillars.

When we were walking back Marie-Eve had to slide in that weird piece of art.

Pike Place

On the 23rd of July we went to Pike Place Street Market in Seattle with the parents. We had a blast walking around and seeing the many vendors. This is the famous place where the throw the fish when you order one. It was cool. As you can see on the second picture that the fish were huge and so were the prices. If you can't read that it says that the King Salmon is $21.99/lb. Someone asked how big the fish run and he said about 18-20lb. so that would make the fish between $200-300. It was crazy and people buy them. It is nuts.

They just had this one dangling off the side. It was weird.

Here are the kids sitting on the pig. Not for sure exactly why it was there but it was cool.

Visit from Mom and Dad

This is a bit late but better late than never.
On the 19th of July my Mom and Dad came to visit us. It was so wonderful to have them come and see us. In the whole 6 years of our marriage this is the first time they have come to see just us. We were so excited.
On the 22nd (my birthday) we took a trip to see Mt. Rainier. It was beautiful. Here is a picture that my mom took to show how tall the trees were.We stopped right inside the park to have a picnic. Marie-Eve was so excited to have a picnic that she wouldn't sit down at the table, she had to sit on a blanket on the ground.

Stephane trying to take food while I am eating as usual.
Right by were we stopped to eat was a creek. It is that color because of all the iron.
We decided to take a hike to see some falls. This was a bridge over the river so we could start our hike up to the falls. Mom was so scared and didn't think she was going to be able to do it but she did. And it was a good thing since she is the one that had the camera.
Marie-Eve standing next to a very tall tree.

Here we are on the easy part.

Lee saw this huge tree over the river and couldn't resist leaving the trail and taking a look.

Taking a closer look at the river.

Carter Falls

We were so glad to finally make it there. We had been hiking for about 2 hours all up the side of the volcano.
We all wish we could've been Stephane. LOL
Lee and I were thirsty and man was it good.
Yummy!!!
This was so funny. When Lee and I went down to the river to get a drink Lee told Marie-Eve to sit on that long and not move. And man did she not move. Gramme and Papa tried to get her to come close to them but all she did was put her hands on her hips and say "No, my daddy told me to not move." And she didn't. What a cutie.
Candid shots. CHEESE!

Mom and Dad crossing the bridge on our way back to the cars.

Taking a rest.

This is the major falls on Mt. Rainier, the Narada Falls. They were so cool. One day we will have to go back and take the trail to the bottom of these falls.
Christine Falls
On our way back down this deer crossed the road.
This was such a fun trip and I know I want to do it again many time before we leave this area. The views were just breathtaking.
