We really enjoyed our time in Gettysburg. There were lots of things for the kids to see and climb on. It was amazing as we read all the accounts about what happened during those days of the Civil War. These pictures are barely a drop in the bucket of all that we ended up taking.

This was a pit stop on our way to Gettysburg. First we went to the Hill Cumorah and then on to the Sacred Grove.

Hey, I was on this trip too. HA!

If only she could really run that fast. hehe

We left Nauvoo and arrived in Kirtland and just saw a few things before crashing for the night. It was cool to see what they have changed since our last visit (9 years ago on our honeymoon). Mostly the kids had so much fun not being in the van anymore. haha

He couldn't get enough exploring in.

On the second day we started the day off with a carriage ride around Nauvoo. I had never done this before and was excited to go. Then we were off to see other sites. We really enjoyed our time there. We did make a quick trip over to Carthage but didn't do much there since the kids had had enough and just wanted to rest in the hotel.

28Apr11 Nauvoo Part 1

We went from Kansas to Nauvoo, Illinois to visit all the historical sites there. We arrived and decided to start off at the visitors' center. We went in briefly but soon realized the kids have been cooped up and just needed to run. We walked in the Monument to Women Garden and then visited a couple of sites before heading to our hotel.

They have a new place (at least since the last time I was there over 10 yrs ago) called the Family Living Center. Here they showed you how they made things to live during the time of old Nauvoo.

We spent a week with my parents and it just happened to fall over Easter weekend. All my siblings came down and we had a ton of fun. We only wish we could have been there longer. We were so busy doing things that I didn't get a whole ton of pictures except for Easter. Here are a few of my favorite.

We had so much fun in Utah. It was cold most of the time we were there but we did have a few good day that we were able to play in their nice back yard.

Moving 8Apr11

On April 9th we took off from Fort Lewis, WA to start our journey to our new home at Fort Benning, GA. After our stuff was packed up (one of the best things about the army is they do it all for you) and we did a good cleaning of the house we packed the boys up and headed to Utah. Marie-Eve had left the week before with Grana and Grandpa (Lee's parents) and enjoyed spending the week with them. It was a blessing in disguise since she was sick off and on. If she had been with us it would have been difficult to take care of her while everything was being packed up. The boys were really good on the trip to Utah and we were glad to finally be on our way to Georgia, we had known we were going to move there for over a year.

In February the kids and I went to Utah for Aubrey's wedding. Marie-Eve was a flower girl and I was the photographer. It was a long trip but fun and worth it. The kids were good and all the family and friends helped take care of the boys so I could focus on capturing the moments. I ended up taking over 800 pictures that night. Here are a few of the kids.

While in Utah we celebrated the boys' birthdays. Stephane's was a couple days after we left and Lee wasn't going to be home for Jean-Louis's so we did them together. I can't believe that Stephane is 3. It just seems like not long ago we were moving here, Ft. Lewis, and welcoming him into our family. He is getting so big and loves his sister and brother. We were worried about him for a while because he wasn't talking but now he never stops. haha He brings us so much joy and we love him.

Christmas Morning 2010

The kids were so excited when they saw everything Christmas morning. They couldn't even wait for us to be out of bed before they pulled down the baby gate (to keep the dogs out) and were enjoying their big items.

Digging into their stockings. I forgot to pack the stockings so we improvised with bags but that was okay by them since they were much bigger than their stockings. haha

Stephane was so funny with the stuff in his stocking. He would pull something out and say "Cool!" then throw it aside and dig out something more. He was cracking us up.

Now that the stockings are done they were ready to open everything else.

In a flurry of gift wrap and smiles they were all done.

Now time to go outside and try out the bike and wagon.

They had so much fun with all their new stuff. Of course, they still have fun with it all except for the bike and wagon. We couldn't fit it all into our van so the kids and I will bring that back when we go for Aubrey's wedding in a few weeks. All in all I think we had a good one.

Utah Snow

We went to Utah for Christmas this year and we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the ton of snow that came down while we were there. So glad we went ahead and got all the kids snow gear for this trip.

Holidays are coming and I've been trying to figure out what to do for holiday cards. Since we have been married (8 years) I talk about sending out Christmas cards but never find the right one. I have been even known to just send out an email but I really don't like to do that. This year I found out about this great promotion that Shutterfly is doing and can't pass it up. Again I'm a bit late getting this posted but I guess better late than never.
I can't believe I have a 6 year old!! She is getting so big and loves being a big sister. She is a big push over for her brothers and is a great help to me. She enjoyed every minute of her birthday from being able to take cupcakes to school to her family birthday party. She insisted the decoration of her cake be a surprise. At the end of the day she exclaimed, "A perfect day for the birthday girl!" She is growing up too fast. :)

I know I'm a couple of weeks late on this but...

Jean-Louis is six months now and hitting mile stones left and right. He's a whopping 20lbs 3oz and 27.2 inches. He is sitting on his own (loves it) and we started him on baby food. He loves everything that we give him and devours it. He can't get enough. Soon enough he will be crawling and into even more stuff. He is already getting around by doing a bit of rolling and I can't figure out what else he does but he seems to move well enough. He's just getting so big and we love him so.Eating his carrots.

Eating his toes is one of his favorite things. :)

We didn't do anything for the 4th because it was cold and yuck outside. It finally warmed up these last couple of days and did it ever warm up. We were out and about and we decided to go to a park. I decided we should check out the new on here on post and so glad we did. Not only is there a new playground but a splash park also. The kids didn't have bathing suits but it didn't stop them from having fun. I was surprised at how well the pictures came out since I only had my phone. We are definately going back.

Lee is HOME!!! Lee came home late night/early morning so a wonderful friend crashed at my house so the kids could sleep. It was torture waiting for him since they had a live feed showing the plane land, them get off and them checking their weapons and such. So after a long deployment he is finally home.

So it has been a while since I've posted but I've been busy. I've done a couple more sewing projects. I got these cute things from Oh So Sassy and I think I'm gonna do more of there projects because they are super easy and oh so cute. Plus, we've been getting ready for Lee (aka Daddy) to come home. He's arriving sometime this week. WHOOO HOOOO!!!!! We are out of minds excited. I will post more later but for right now that is what we've been up to. We are hoping that the rain will stop soon so we can start doing things.

What have I been doing lately? Well, I've been doing a bit of sewing. It has been a long time since I have done anything besides sewing on patches for Lee. I've been wanting a Hooter Hider (aka nursing cover) since I had Stephane but didn't want to pay $40 for one. So I took matters into my own hands this time around. I also made a matching diaper clutch. I love it.

This was my first diaper clutch that I made it wasn't big enough for Stephane size diapers.

This is my second one. It is much bigger and can hold both sizes of diapers with ease.

Now on to other projects. A couple of capes for Stephane, a scripture bag for Marie-Eve and some things from Oh So Sassy for my friends Virtual Sewing Party (which anyone can join in).

Yesterday I took the kids out for a spring photo shoot. Marie-Eve has been asking me to take pictures with the pink flower trees since she saw them 2 years ago. Well, I finally did it. Then we went to the parade field to blow bubbles and just play. I only wish the clouds weren't so low so Mt. Rainier was in the background. Well, I guess we will just have to go again. I took a million pictures and here are just a little sample.

I want to tell you about this wonderful product that I have found. It is Graco's NasalClear® Battery Operated Nasal Aspirator. I bought it on a whim since Jean-Louis has been stuffy pretty much since he was born. It has been working great to pull all the stuff out of his nose. I used it for the first time today with Stephane and man I can't believe all the stuff that it is pulling out of there. He woke up this morning with a constant runny nose and since I started using it it is a long time before it strts coming out again. If you don't have one of these yet I suggest you go and get one.

So I was a bit disappointed this morning when I stepped onto the scale. In the last week I've gained 2lbs. What? Well, I'm not one of the lucky ones that just shed pounds while breastfeeding but I really didn't think I would gain weight. I know I have struggled with this after each child but have not actually been weighing myself and keeping track. The only thing I can think of is that I'm eating to many calories so I'm going to start tracking how much I eat. I'm going to use my account on sparkpeople.com to do this. Hopefully this will help me. Here's to hoping.

This is day one of hopefully a massive weight loss. I weighed in this morning at 259. I don't really have a goal for how much I want to weigh but I do want to be able to get into some prepregnancy clothes. I have a ton of clothes to wear but can't fit back into them yet. I want to get out of my maternity clothes. So every week I will post my progress and hopefully you will see me shrinking right before your eyes. :)

I had the pleasure of having a great friend come and see me the first weekend of March. Krista and I have known each other for about 10 years. She came to help me with Jean-Louis and we took a day to go up to the Pike Place Market and the Space Needle in Seattle. We also went to the Sound which was beautiful. It was a gorgeous day and we got some really good pictures. Krista had a lot of fun with my camera.

Here are a few pics of the kids. Marie-Eve and Stephane love their new brother. I was a little worried about Stephane's reaction but he is doing so good. It did take him a couple of days before he would sit still long enough to hold him but now he wants to hold him all the time. And of course, Marie-Eve is a great big sister and wants to hold him also and I'm surprised at how long she will hold him. I know that they can't wait for him to be able to play back with them.

The story of Jean-Louis

It all started on Wednesday, February 10th when I went to my final NTS appointment. While talking to the nurse I found out that I have been seeing midwives through out my pregnancy instead of doctors. I was suppose to be seeing doctors because of the hospital rules because of my prior c-section. So she cancelled my Friday appointment and made one with a doctor for the next day, Thursday. I went to my appointment on Thursday and found out I was already dilated to a 3. After talking to the doctor about all the risks of having another vaginal delivery he brought in a high risk doctor. They said I had extra fluid and they were calculating him to be very close to 11lbs. After getting told all the risks again the doctor said he was going to talk to the doctor that was going to be on duty the next day to see what she thought. He told me I would probably not hear from her til late afternoon. To my surprise I was waken the next morning a little after 7am by the doctor. She told me to come in as soon as I was ready to be assessed. I took my time getting ready since I really wanted to wait til the next day when my in-laws would be here. After dropping the kids off at Trina's and picking up Lesa to be with me at the hospital, I was on my way. I checked into triage and after being checked they told me I was still at a 3 and that I needed to go and walk for a couple of hours. Lesa and I went to the PX got an early lunch and walked around for a while. We went back and was told that I still hadn't changed enough. The doctor said she would induce me if I wanted. I asked her if I could wait til the next day and she told me she would have to ask the doctor that would be on duty then. That doctor came in and told me that she didn't feel comfortable with inducing me and she would highly suggest getting a c-section without even trying to do it vaginally. After the doctor left I looked at Lesa and was like I think my only option was to go with the doctor that would induce me or even let me try and have this baby my way. I asked her if she was ready and willing to be with me that day and she said sure. So I was admitted and the journey began. The time was about 1pm when I was admitted and after a very long night with a couple of very scary experiences Jean-Louis was born at 707am Saturday morning. I did feel some pleasure of having the doctor that told me I wouldn't be able to have him vaginally there when I pushed him out. She told me I did a good job and all I wanted to do was say "I told you so". He was 9lbs 15oz and 22inches long. He is such a cute little boy and I love that he is in our lives.

So I've been gone from my blog for a while but I am determined to be better. A lot has gone on since my last post in October. We now have a new bouncing little boy in our lives, Lee has had his R&R and the kids have grown so much. I will post pictures and write more about everything soon. I just wanted everyone to know that I am still here.

Pumpkin Patch

On Monday Marie-Eve had her first ever field trip. It was for the pumpkin patch rain or shine and it was raining. Went to the school at 8:15 and the bus took off shortly after 9. Stephane and I followed in our own car. It was so much fun even though we were wet and cold.
First we took a hay ride around the farm and to the pumpkin patch were the kids got to pick a pumpkin. Then to a maze made out of hay bales and to a little petting zoo. Finally finish up with a sack lunch. It was a good first field trip, just wish the weather was better. (Pictures aren't very good because they were from my phone. I didn't take my big camera since it was raining and didn't want to ruin it.)

Today was the day that I've been looking forward to ever since I found out I was pregnant. I had an ultrasound and found out the gender of this baby that has been kicking around inside for 19 weeks. And the verdict is BOY!!! I am so glad since we had a boy name picked out and had no idea what we were going to name a little girl. We are so EXCITED!!!!

This past Saturday we had Marie-Eve's 5th Birthday party. We had two girls over for a Fancy Nancy Tea Party.

Today was Marie-Eve's first day of Preschool. She was so excited and talked about it for days. She had fun picking out her new outfit and how her hair was to be done. When it was time to leave her class she didn't want to leave. Marie-Eve is enjoying telling everyone what she did at school and can't wait to go back. The buses couldn't take the kids today because they didn't have the badges for the kids today. Hopefully they will have it for Thursday because she was disappointed she didn't get to ride today.

Stephane's first real hair cut

I couldn't stand it any longer. Stephane's hair was getting so long. I had trimmed it a couple of times but it was just getting unruly. When I looked at his hair this last week I just couldn't think of anything else to do. When the back wouldn't stay flat anymore and all it did was stick straight out I knew it was time. So I pulled out the clippers and away I went. He was so good and thankfully the clippers were pretty quiet so he wasn't afraid. He didn't mind getting his hair cut until I tried to get the back. I know for next time to not do it in a kitchen chair.

What we've been up to

We haven't been doing much since Lee left a month ago but we are getting ready for school to start for Marie-Eve and her fifth birthday is just around the corner. So here are a few random pictures of the last bit.

Nice weather

I love Spring!!! It has been so nice the last couple of days. I haven't been good at taking pictures but thought I would tell everyone how much I LOVE the sun. Yesterday, I planted flowers and was able to some other cleaning outside. It feels like forever since I have been able to do anything outside. Once my flowers start blooming I will definetly be posting pictures.

Well, we didn't do Easter until yesterday because Grana (Lee's mom) was coming Monday morning and Marie-Eve wouldn't hear of doing anything until she got here. So we put Stephane down for his nap and we got ready. When he woke up the Easter Bunny had left a trail of candy down the stairs to the baskets and hidden eggs. It took Stephane a while to warm up since he just woke up but he eventually got it.

Hair cut

Last Monday Stephane turned 15 months and I couldn't take his hair anymore. It bothered Lee that it was covering his ears and the front was driving me crazy. So after dinner since I was going to through him in the bath anyways and he was already strapped in his seat I decided to give it a go. He struggled a lot and Lee actually ended up doing most of it. Last night it was still beautiful after dinner so the kids and I went outside. Marie-Eve loves to ride her bike. Stephane just wants to ride her bike so I pulled out the little scooter that we got for Marie-Eve's second birthday and he loved it. It has been beautiful this weekend. On Saturday we went to the park and we all loved it. The kids love playing with their daddy. They are going to miss him when he leaves next week for a month.

Stephane loves it when I vacuum. He follows me around and sometimes gets in the way. He just loves it so much. He plays with it all the time and every once in a while I will actually turn it on and let him do my job. LOL Today he was doing two things at once vacumming and watching TV. It just cracks me up that he loves the vacuum so much.

Of course, Marie-Eve had to get into a picture. She just can't stand it if a picture is being taken and she is not in it.Every night we watch Wheel of Fortune and then it is bath time. Well, tonight we had dinner late so I just let Stephane stay in his chair until it was over because he had chilli all over. I looked over and this is how we was sitting. Just so content in watching his Wheel of Fortune.

Marie-Eve has been begging me to make something out of this wonderful kids cookbook that I have (from Pampered Chef but no longer makes it :( ). She picked out these cute cupcakes. We had fun making them and I made mini so they would be just the kids' size.

Marie-Eve had so much putting these together. I frosted and she decorated.Stephane sure liked them.

A few new things

So I tried my hand again at cutting Marie-Eve's hair. It came out a whole lot shorter than what it was suppose to be but she likes it. Now her hair looks thick just like I knew that it was.

Stephane loves to put on shoes and walk around. He will try to put on any shoe that is available. We think it is absolutely hilarious. Mostly it is my shoes because they are easily
slipped on and daddy's are a bit tricky since they are boots.

I was cleaning out my closet and he slipped on the first pair of shoes and they happened
to be my heels. He loved them and walked around a long time in them.

I need to be better at keeping this updated. In my defense the computer that I have all our pictures on went crazy and we almost lost everything. Well, Stephane is finally 1!!!!! I have pictures but I have to wait to see if the files got corrupted by the virus that we had. He loves to dance! I know that I have put videos of him and Marie-Eve dancing together but he grooves anytime that there is music. Sometimes I catch him rocking at church with the hymns. Marie-Eve just recently became a dancer and it is interesting to see him groove at such a young age. I love my kids and am suprised by everything that they do.

Christmas pictures Finally

Okay it has been 3 weeks since Christmas but better late than never. We went to Utah and spent Christmas with Lee's family. It was nice to see them again. Before we left we got Marie-Eve her big present Guitar Hero Worl Tour. It was more for the family but she is the one that had been begging for it. She dosen't really get how to play but Lee and I have lots of fun playing it. Lee did teach her how to power stance while she plays (like on School of Rock). She loves it!!!

While we were there Utah had a ton of snow. Grana bought Marie-Eve snow pants and boots so she could play in the snow without getting cold. We had so much fun playing and Stephane even got to join in. He loved the snow.

Christmas Eve we decorated the sugar cookies that Aunt Jessy and gingerbread cookies that Grana made for Santa.

Even Stephane helped out.

It comes a time when are kids get to big for things and it was time for Stephane to get out of his infant car seat. He isn't quite one but he is over 20 pounds and walking. He loves it and is glad to see something other than the back window.I was doing laundry the other day and Stephane was there pulling everything out of the dryer as usual. I kept telling him to stop it and the next thing I knew he was inside. Now everytime I open the dryer he climbs in and hands the clothes. Well, at least he is being useful.

Since Lee's parents came for Thanksgiving they decided to bring Marie-Eve her big present that was to hard to ship. We had her open it then so they could see her do it. It is a big doll house and she LOVES it. Stephane even helped her open it.

I need to be better but sometimes it is hard to get on the computer with everything that is going on. The computer is hooked up to the tv and someone is always using it or the kids are awake and won't let me sit down. lol But I am here and the kids are getting excited for Christmas (okay, Marie-Eve is and Stephane dosen't have a clue). Lee's parents came for Thanksgiving and Lee was thrilled. Until, the army sent him to a class that made him only have Thanksgiving off so he didn't spend the time he wanted with him. So we are going to Utah for Christmas!!! We are counting down the days and looking forward to seeing everyone again. The kids are going to have the best Christmas ever because it has been a long time since little kids have been there for Christmas so of course, they are going to be spoiled. But thats okay just means less work for us. :)

Okay, Stephane has been taking a couple of steps here and there for a couple of weeks now. After dinner tonight I thought we would try to get him to walk back and forth between Lee and I. It's been awhile

I know it has been awhile but not a whole lot going on.
Well, actually that isn't completely true. Sunday, Stephane took his first steps. It completely suprised us. We have been waiting for a long time ever since he started cruising almost 2 months ago. He really hasn't taken anymore than the three on Sunday. But before I know it he will be running around like crazy. Right now I just wish it would happen.
Marie-Eve said the funniest thing last night. We were sitting on the couch eating a snack and I asked her if she wanted anymore and she said, "No, I'm stuffed. Stuffed like a turkey." I couldn't believe it. All I could do was laugh. She is always coming up with something new to make me laugh.

My house isn't in the best condition but just trying to catch up from a week of Stephane being sick and it is taking longer than I thought.

Dream Family Vacation: Anywhere we can be together. This is when Lee got his citizenship but as long as we are together it doesn't matter where we go.

Stephane got his first tooth. It all of a sudden cut through on Saturday. I hadn't even noticed but we left the kids over at Lesa's for about an hour and when we picked them up she asked if I noticed. Of course, I hadn't and I was totally suprised. It never really budded. You can't really see it in the picture but this is the best that Stephane would let us get.

On Saturday while Lesa watched the kids I got to shoot a gun for the first time. It was a gun that Lee traded a scope to get and had to put it in my name since at the time he wasn't a citizen. So I should say that I finaly got to shoot MY (LOL) gun. I have video of it but can't figure out how to separate that clip from the others. When I do figure it out I will post it. But here is a picture of me with my target. I didn't do to bad I only missed the target once. Lee was impressed he thought I would of done worse. And I hit the black part 4 times which is good.

Rough day yesterday

So yesterday was such a rough afternoon for Marie-Eve. She went outside to play with the neighbor kids and wasn't out for more than 5 minutes when she was crying. I rushed out to check on her and she had a scape on her forhead and nose from falling. She was running after the boys and tripped over her flip-flops. She was okay and went off to play some more. A little while later she came crying again but this time I knew it was serious because she was wailing. Low and behold one of the boys threw a rock and hit her just under her left eye. This is what it looked like yesterday. This is what it looked like today.
So now she has had her first shiner. She is a trooper and hasn't complained at all.

I couldn't stand Marie-Eve's hair anymore. It was so hard to comb/brush because of all the tangles so I cut it. I don't believe I did a bad job for not having any experience with doing hair but it turned out cute. It is a bit shorter than I invisioned but it will grow. Been awhile

It has bee awhile since I last posted anything. It just has been so busy. The kids are getting so big and I am having trying to keep up with them. Stephane is into everything now. He is pulling himself up to see anything and everything. His new trick is to climb the stairs. Man, do we need to get a gate.

He has also found the joy of playing the drums. I can distract him from about anything by letting him pound away.

I can't believe that my baby boy is 7 months old today. It doesn't seem like it has been that long since I held in my arms for the first time. He has gotten so big and learns new things everyday. 18lbs. 11oz 28in. He crawls everywhere now and nothing is safe. LOL
He found his reflection in the sliding door and has so much fun playing with himself.

And he pulls himself up and cruises (slowly) around. He has already stood all on his own several times and probably will be walking all on his own soon.
He is so handsome and is going to break alot of hearts in his future. I love him and he teaches me something new everyday.

We went to the Space Needle while my parents were here. My dad has been wanting to go since he came to Seattle for the World's Fair. We walked from the Pike Place Market. It was an enjoyable day. Marie-Eve had to push brother. She did such a good job especially since it was a bit of a hill that we were on.

Pike Place

On the 23rd of July we went to Pike Place Street Market in Seattle with the parents. We had a blast walking around and seeing the many vendors. This is the famous place where the throw the fish when you order one. It was cool. As you can see on the second picture that the fish were huge and so were the prices. If you can't read that it says that the King Salmon is $21.99/lb. Someone asked how big the fish run and he said about 18-20lb. so that would make the fish between $200-300. It was crazy and people buy them. It is nuts.

They just had this one dangling off the side. It was weird.

Visit from Mom and Dad

This is a bit late but better late than never.

On the 19th of July my Mom and Dad came to visit us. It was so wonderful to have them come and see us. In the whole 6 years of our marriage this is the first time they have come to see just us. We were so excited.

On the 22nd (my birthday) we took a trip to see Mt. Rainier. It was beautiful. Here is a picture that my mom took to show how tall the trees were.We stopped right inside the park to have a picnic. Marie-Eve was so excited to have a picnic that she wouldn't sit down at the table, she had to sit on a blanket on the ground.

We decided to take a hike to see some falls. This was a bridge over the river so we could start our hike up to the falls. Mom was so scared and didn't think she was going to be able to do it but she did. And it was a good thing since she is the one that had the camera.

Lee is finally a USA CITIZEN!!!!!!

Today was a wonderful day! Lee was able to finally be sworn in as a citizen. We left the house this morning at 550AM for his 730AM appointment. He had to take his citizenship test and of course he passed it. So we were out of there by 745AM. Then Lee informed me that the swearing in ceremony didn't start until 2PM. So instead of using the gas to go all the way back home we went to a mall and walked around. After getting breakfast we ended up being at the mall for 2 1/2 hours. Wow do my feet hurt. We got lunch and headed back to Homeland Security for the cermony. We went through security and while Lee filled out the last bit of paperwork the kids and I waited in the small auditorium.

I would like to say how proud I am of my husband. He has done so much for this country and it is so great to see him to finally be official. He is excited to be able to register to vote and be part of that process. I love him so much.

4th of July

On the 4th of July we went to Lee's Sgt's house. We had fun.

Before we got there they were mowing the grass and found some baby rabbits. Marie-Eve got to hold one and she thought it was way cool. You can't really see it but it is in her lap.

One of the girls there bought Marie-Eve some goodies. One of them was this red, white and blue streamer. She loved running around with it.
They also had a slip-n-slide. She really didn't do it well (only because she can't really run) but she had fun trying.

Of course, she got to do sparklers. Can you see how long that thing is? I couldn't believe it when I saw them, I have never seen them that big.

And finally the fireworks. It was Marie-Eve's first fireworks.

Visiting Brittany

So it has been a while so here goes what has been going on in the last couple of weeks.

On the 2nd of July Me and the kids went and visited Brittany and her family. She lives so far out there but we had a blast. Benjamin and Marie-Eve played so well together that I didn't want to leave. They live just up the hill from a lake and the kids loved it. The water only comes up to just past Marie-Eve's waist at the deepest part. Benjamin wanted to catch tadpoles but Marie-Eve didn't want anything to do with it. She is such a girl.

Stephane and I had fun on land. He loves to smile for the camera. LOL
Marie-Eve helped Jared bury Benjamin in the sand. She really didn't help much but it was fun.
Then it was Marie-Eve's turn. She thought it was so cool.

Last night was fun. Lee left this morning for Yakima for a week so last night we grilled outside. While he was waiting for the meat to cook he played with Marie-Eve. She had so much fun playing with Daddy.

Daddy was teaching her how to throw one handed. I think she is going to be a lefty.

After Marie-Eve was in bed we had fun watching Stephane play on the floor. He was pulling his knees underneath him and so I thought I would try and get a picture of it. Of course, as soon as I put the camera to my eye all he wanted to do was pose for the camera. He didn't want to show me his new trick anymore.

Then he changed is mind and pulled his knees in.

Then he totally suprised us!He has never dones this before and before we know it he will be chasing after us. :)

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

Today we went to Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium with Doug and Lesa. It was so much fun and the kids loved it. It was perfect weather and we couldn't have asked for anything more. They had lots of animals and today was even whale play day so the kids got to see Beluga whales do tricks. The best part about the zoo was the Kids Zone. It had lots of things for the kids to run wild among. Plus, at the end they had a blast playing in the water.

We finally have nice weather here this weekend and so we have been playing outside more. Marie-Eve loves bubbles and so that is what we have been doing with her.

Stephane has been enjoying himself also. Lee had a guy in his unit give us a bunch of baby stuff and one of those things was an exersaucer. Stephane is just loving it. His favorite thing to do in it is watch Marie-Eve's cartoons during the week.

Our recent visit to Utah

We just got back from Utah this week. We were there for Hal's wedding, both Lee and Marie-Eve were in the wedding. We had so much fun seeing family and being a part of Hal and Jessy's big day.

We took 2 days coming back and it made it easier on Stephane. We stayed in Boise and relaxed.

When we entered Washington state I got my first ticket. I was speeding going 80 in a 70 but it all tirked me off because on the ticket it shows what the aircraft clocked me at and it was obvious that I didn't realize how fast I was going but as soon as I saw how fast I immediately slowed down. Plus, you could tell that the county was trying to make their quota for the month because as I was pulling back onto the highway another cop was pulling someone over and then the cop that pulled me over pulled the guy behind me over. It was ridiculous! Also, on the way home we took a scenic route once we got back into Washinton and saw some beautiful scenery. We ended up going through a bit of mountains and got some great pictures of some waterfalls.

We Moved

We have finally moved onto post. Lee's mom, Joanne, and sister, Aubrey, were here and I am so grateful they were here. They helped unpack and entertain the kids so it could all get done. We went to the ocean while they were here also. It was cold but no rain while we were there. With their help it looks like we have lived here for months and not just days. It is nice being on post because now Lee gets to come home for breakfast and lunch. He wasn't excited about moving but is liking it since this is a nicer place than the last one.
